Frigidaire front-loading washer stopped working. "PAU" on display. Checked for error code, which displayed E41. That means the washer thinks the door is open, even though it's closed. Washer won't operate. Since the strike pins are intact, the problem must be in the door lock switch. You can use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the tension spring out of the rim, allowing the rubber part of the seal to come off. This will give access to the door lock switch. Unscrew the screws and unplug three connectors. The door lock switch can be removed. This one fits into my washer perfectly. The connectors reconnect easily and washer immediately works. Great product !
